Best Builds — Weapon & Artifact Synergies for Every Playstyle

Sephiria's build system layers four systems: your weapon's upgrade path, the artifacts and tablets in your grid inventory, permanent talents, and run-unlocked miracle abilities. With ~300 artifacts and 200+ weapon upgrades, the combinations are nearly endless — but the most effective builds follow a simple principle: pick a damage type and stack it.

Every build needs:

  1. Primary damage source — Your weapon upgrade path
  2. Artifact + tablet synergy — A coherent element/stat theme in your grid
  3. Inscription/talent support — Permanent bonuses that fill gaps
  4. A utility option — Healing, dodging, or defensive items to survive

How to Build a Run

  1. Pick an archetype that matches how you want to play (tanky, burst, safe, support)
  2. Match it to a weapon — each archetype maps to 1-2 weapons above
  3. Layer systems in order: weapon upgrade path → artifact/tablet setup → talents → miracles
  4. Let your tablets decide your element — artifact and tablet support decide more than the weapon itself. If you find fire tablets early, lean into a fire build even if you planned ice
  5. In co-op, cover two archetypes — a tanky frontliner plus a ranged DPS handles every boss
